Our services at a glance

Medical Assistance - We can help review medical records and test reports. We can monitor the patient at the beside in a hospital or be a good choice for a healthcare proxy.

Baby Boomers Next Best Thing to Being There Service - Caring for a parent or relative in the same zip code can be hard, but long-distance caregiving, which is becoming more commonplace, is even harder. In our present day mobile society, long distance caregiving produces added burdens on the baby boomer and countless stress. We can do much to ease the stress and thus reduce much of your worry and concern. Our Next Best Thing to Being There service can provide you with: regular visits to your relative that would include but not be limited to: socialization/companionship for the time of the visit, monitoring medication compliance, home safety, care giver services (how well the person is being cared for by your caregiver), assessment for clinical, cognitive and or physical changes, making/keeping MD appointments, ordering medications, assessing the persons nutritional status, etc.. This service provides monitoring your loved one and protecting their rights. We can visit them in any place they reside, home, board and care facility, skilled nursing facility or other living arrangement and report back to you on their overall status. Some patients never have a visitor and they wither away due to lack of person to person interaction, lack of touch, lack of communication and love. Is this what you really want for your loved one? Let us be your eyes, ears and protector. We can even review the patient’s chart with your permission. No more sleepless nights - take action now and try us. Miles may separate you but your love will be remembered.

Insurance Assistance - Health insurance and other cost and billing issues can be very confusing. We can assist in handling paperwork and insurance filings and negotiate denials of claims and review bills for correct codes (error in coding can cause the bill to be higher).

Home Health Assistance - We can test your privately hired home care aid prior to hiring to verify their competence, assist in limited training of your home care provider, assist with referrals to Medicare/Medi-Cal certified home care agencies, provide reports on home care agencies, hospice agencies, convalescent homes for your review so you can make an informed decision on which agency to choose.  If you already have an agency we can review your current plan of care to see if you are receiving correct utilization of services or determine if you are getting the full benefits for your diagnosed condition.  We can provide resource assistance by our MSW to see what community resources you may be qualified for, medication management and more.

Elder and Geriatric Assistance - This service is equivalent to home health assistance, but focused on the elderly. We can research and investigate assisted-living and nursing home reports and visit the site, examine the settings and report our findings PRIOR to you making your decision on placement. We can do an in-home assessment on the patient’s needs and make recommendation. A home safety assessment may provide help identifying safety hazards and concerns which will be valuable in the protection of the senior and prevention of falls and injuries.  We are knowledgeable in home care and can assist with finding Medicare home health services, medical equipment and supplies or hospice services.

Resource Assistance-We have an MSW who can assist you in applying for Medi-Cal, Medicare and other community resources.

Health Care Advanced Directive-We have several referral sources for assisting you with an advanced directive.
